When I’m homesick i go for those rustic recipes known from generations. « Kammounet banadoura »is a kind of salade or entrée libanaise. Its made of wheat, usually organic in Lebanon. Mixed with tomato fresh sauce and Lebanese herbes and spices like mint, rose petals, cumin, basilic and others. We add virgin olive oil and eat with bread aside. It impresses a lot my husband that I can work rustic countryside recipes (💪🏻)haha! Anyhow it’s a pleasure to keep this culture of ancient but healthy food though we live in modern times.
